Tried out Thai halal food near sultan masjid area. Tom yum soup was only warm and not hot enough to get the fish pieces cooked. Veggie was like worst one can dip in oil and take out without being cooked. Left the food without any hesitation. Staff was not at all present to serve and we have to pick the tissues from other table ourselves. Don’t think I will return. They may have something better but not for me anymore.

Patronised the place as it was hyped up and also, recommended by the Instagram account, Halalfoodhunt who is usually reliable. But boy, was I disappointed to the core.

It was our first trip out with our baby. I can accept that there was no greeting but only stares from the staff (especially the staff with blonde hair) when we entered. We found ourselves a table and struggled with placing the stroller such that there was no obstruction in the walkway and we could have our baby next to one of us. It's the first time that we entered an eatery where no staff offered any help, not even to being away 1 chair so that there's enough space for the pram. The place was extremely stuffy with poor ventilation. Our baby was sweating. We decided to move to the adjacent table once the customers left as it was nearer to the aircon. But the blonde haired staff mentioned that the only way was to let our baby be alone while we both sat together on the other side of the table. I did ask if it's ok I squeezed in on the same side as the pram as I wanted to have our baby in sight instead of leaving our baby all alone.  He denied my request.

The fact that the food would be decent was our only hope of coming down all the way but lo and behold, they messed up our order too (refer to pics of order placed and order receiced). Beef was not cooked through either :(

So, my humble opinion is to patronise this place only if you've run out of options or really don't have another choice.

The pineapple beef (+$1.50) set is worth. However the beef slices mostly small that it seems to be leftover from cutting up slices & fried to much that it harden ~ more like fried beef jerky. Huge pineapple chunks in the rice.

Dory fish fillet was the best in my opinion of the whole set.

Smootea was very sweet ~ felt like having Diabetes while sipping LoL. Presentation of the drink was pretty though!

Coke came in glass bottle that we were in awe of! So cute! Trully a must take picture kind.. LoL

Sankaya was given a tad too little. The 5 bread pieces weren't enough for the pandan jam to go around. Have to eat it steaming hot though else the bread gets harden.

Pad thai prawn has 3 big pieces. My friend ask No chilli, they still add chilli. Eventhough its placed at the side, she felt disheartened that there's chilli.

The food is nothing to shout about, its just overhyped on social media. I've had Thai food that is not overhyped and is more authentic.

That atrocious singing from the kitchen staff does nothing to perk my appetite neither does it entertain.

I visited Bangkok Thai Muslim, driven by numerous recommendations, but unfortunately my expectations weren't fully met. While the food presentation was impressive, the taste didn't quite live up to its hype. Disappointments: 1. Tom Yum noodles, despite it's popularity, I found it underwhelming and not as fantastic as I expected. 2. Harimau Menangis, although it was saved by its rich, thick sauce, the dis itself didn't impress. The only dish that stood up was the Omelette and Thai milk tea.
Overall, my experience was mixed, and I left feeling somewhat disappointed.
