We had a fabulous dinner for a party of 8 before the theatre show. We ordered vegan meals, they were delicious, good quantity and served in good time. We added a few extras and requested they be served promptly as we were getting close to time to go to the theatre. The restaurant was getting busier. The team delivered. Manager Ahmed was great in understanding our needs, checking in on us and we felt well looked after. Thank you

I had an amazing experience at Banana Tree! Marina was absolutely wonderful — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was great — relaxed and inviting. And the food? Simply delicious! Everything was well served, full of flavour, and arrived in good time. I’ll definitely be coming back — and I hope to be served by Marina again!

Loved the delicious Gochujang Chicken (for spicy taste palette) , Pad Thai, and Chicken Dumplings , all dishes were flavourful and well-portioned! Great taste, generous servings, and good value. Friendly service and nice ambiance. Great place for Asian cuisine.

Popped in for a late lunch and had the chicken bowl. It was okay — the rice was a bit undercooked and pretty bland, which didn’t do the dish any favours. The stir-fried veg and chicken were fine, clearly done in batches and sauced up — makes sense from a consistency point of view, especially if a lot of prep happens off-site. The highlight? The pickled cucumber. Super crunchy, packed with floral flavour — honestly, I’d go back just for those. The egg, though, was overcooked and had that green-blue ring, which wasn’t great. Didn’t expect much, and with only three tables in at 3pm, it felt a bit underwhelming. That said, the service was genuinely lovely — friendly and attentive. So not a total miss, but definitely room for improvement.
