We are from Canada visiting Bangkok in March 2025. We made 2 fully prepaid reservations at Baiyoke Sky Hotel for 3 nights and 2 nights. Our stay at the hotel was nothing but great satisfaction. The hotel is in a convenient location with many different restaurants, pharmacies, money exchange, night market...within 5 -10 minute walk. The facility is old but very well maintained. Staff is always smiling ready to help us. The restaurant offers delicious menu and pricing is quite reasonable. Our room is on the 65th floor with a great view of the city. We also have access to the outdoor 360 observation deck on the 85th floor with stunning view of Bangkok. Unfortunately we had to cancel our second reservation due to a change in our travel plan, and the hotel quickly refunded our reservation charge. Thank you, Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Best wishes.
I have been there to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. Very big and spacious hotel. Of course, very comfy and one stop service. You can enjoy the nice city view from Baiyoke sky rooftop restaurant and bar during your stay. During the Earthquake, this hotel was not affected at all with its rigidity of infrastructure since the construction. I got a nice hospitality from the hotel staff at the ground floor, kind at service with smile even I'm not a hotel client that day. The hotel is well located in Pratunam area, if you plan for a shopping at the end of your stay or vacay, this hotel would be in my list of recommendations to my tourists. The hotel is not far from many streets foods, easy for you to hang around the evening or enjoy your night.
Excellent place to stay. Check in process was simple and easy. Fairly flexible about check in time. Good customer service there. Check out process was simple as well. Please note if you lose the magnetic access key , they will charge 200 Baht and that seems to be a standard practice across Thailand. Rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious and our room came with a great view of the city as well. This hotel has easy access to a lot of Indian restaurants and a bazaar as well. Great for shopping and eating.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights & my experience was overall pretty decent. Hotel’s located at a prime area & all restaurants, shopping malls are at walking distance which is a bonus! Buffet is huge & is kept on 81st floor - depending on the room one may need to change multiple lifts to reach. Avoid peak hours for rush. Room facilities are decent so overall happy with my stay there.
The hotel is very strategically located right in the heart of Pratunam, Bangkok’s bustling shopping district. Step outside and you're immediately surrounded by food stalls and local vendors. It’s also just a short walk to nearby shopping centers like Platinum Fashion Mall. Yes, the building is quite old — and that shows in some parts, especially the lighting and the dated gym equipment — but for the price you pay, you get excellent value. The city views are stunning, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. The staff were very helpful and even surprised me with a birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. The elevator system can be a bit of a wait during busy times, but there are attendants to assist. Some rooms require taking two elevators (one to the lobby, then another to your floor), but it wasn’t a big deal. Guests also get a free pass to the observatory upstairs, which is a great bonus. There’s a small pool and a gym — though the gym equipment is quite outdated and could really use an upgrade. Laundry service is available, but it’s coin-operated, so be prepared. Overall, it’s a great stay if you’re looking for convenience, value, and easy access to shopping and street food. Just don’t expect modern luxury.
