Over more than 20 yrs, never visit here. Oh, my heaven! This place is superb amazing in the evening like foods heaven to me.....???? Tourists nowaday is more informative from me as a local here. Born in city and brought in the city, we purposely staying far away from attraction places with many reasons, never even know many good seafoods restaurants pilling up here. Only be cautious of scammers, thought you're one time tourist deal, always ask for the price, jot down the price items although stated in the menu ( make sure tax or not tax) usually, they don't tax in street food or hawker stalls. You can't find so many rare and expensive seafoods in local street foods. Funny, look like I'm tourist than local when come to here. Pricing here is not bad, very competitive and even some give free samplers before buy. Fantastic, love it! ???
If you're looking for halal food, try this AFC food stall. They have lot variety in menu, from meats, seafoods, noodles, even veggies. Pretty big portion, enough for 3-4 people. Try the lime steamed sea bass, it tasted good and refreshing, smells fragrant from the herbs, not too sour and the fish is really tender. Oh, and the stir fried noodle is good too.
Chicken wings were very tasty at RM4 per piece. Hokkien mee decent with yummy pork lard. This place is more tourist-y.
