Khamiri bread made from flour is a very unique item. I can say that their starter items like Mutton Burra, Chicken Malai Tikka or Chicken Kalmi Kebab are all awesome. Everything in the main course was good except the Mutton Bheja Fry. The biryani here can be called the most different and the best. I tried the chicken biryani which I found very good
If you’re craving authentic Mughlai cuisine, Al Nawaz Restaurant is a must-visit. This place delivers on both taste and ambiance, offering a dining experience that feels like a step back into the grandeur of the Mughal era. Food & Taste One of the standout dishes at Al Nawaz is their Kadhai Chicken—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with a thick, aromatic gravy that pairs beautifully with their freshly made naans or tandoori rotis. Every bite bursts with a perfect balance of spices, making it an absolute delight. Another personal favorite is their Biryani—fragrant, well-cooked, and packed with authentic Mughlai flavors. The long-grain basmati rice, tender meat, and the perfect blend of spices make it one of the best biryanis I’ve had. It’s a little on the pricier side, but the taste justifies every penny. Their Mughlai cuisine in general is quite impressive, with dishes that are rich, creamy, and packed with traditional flavors. Whether it’s their kebabs, curries, or tandoori items, each dish is crafted with authenticity. Ambience & Service The ambiance is another highlight—it has an old-world charm with Mughal-style decor, intricate designs, and a cozy yet regal feel. It’s a great spot for a quiet, relaxing meal where you can truly enjoy the flavors without too much noise or rush. The service is quite decent, with attentive staff ensuring that your meal experience is smooth and enjoyable. They take their time preparing the food, which indicates freshness, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Pricing & Overall Experience Yes, the prices are slightly on the higher side compared to regular Mughlai joints, but considering the quality, taste, and portion sizes, it feels justified. It’s not a place for a budget meal, but for an indulgent, flavorful experience, it’s one of the best options. Final Verdict If you love Mughlai food, Al Nawaz is definitely worth a visit. Their Kadhai Chicken and Biryani are top-notch, the ambiance is warm and traditional, and the food quality is excellent. While it may be a bit expensive, the authentic flavors make it one of my favorite places for Mughlai cuisine. Definitely recommended!
One of the best places to have the most delicious non veg dishes. The khamiri roti and mutton nihari combo wins my heart every single time. Please visit this place at least once to have some of the best mughlai food. The staff is very courteous and fast plus the ambience is great too.
