Food was good, staff was nice. Bathroom we were told to use (which wasn’t in the restaurant itself was disgusting)

Landed same morning in KL, checked in hotel at around 1 pm and walked to Chinatown longing for food. Al-Baik very easy to identify, almost opposite to iconic Central Market. First ordered for Onion Egg Roti, the signature everyday food in Malaysia. Flour roti stuffed with egg and onion, lightly fried, served with three delightful gravies all with different tastes, one a chicken gravy. Was still a bit hungry after this; then ordered an Ayam Murtabak. This is a flour roti with double filling of minced chicken, onion and spices, again served with three gravies. Very tasteful and very heavy. One of this is very adequate for a meal. So I was a bit over filled, but felt happy that I could taste the quintessential food of Malaysia on first day of my visit. Price is very reasonable. Then sat some more time watching people walking by with a glass of Kopi O (black coffee with sugar), another signature drink of Malaysia.
Best roti Banjir! Tastiest food I’ve had in Malaysia. This was vegetarian as well!
I really enjoyed the food, it was super delicious and very well spiced! Besides the service was extraordinary, thank you so much!
