Sayur lodeh which is its braised vegetables with spices, consisted of cabbage, long bean and carrot. It was soft and mildly flavored. It also came with a tauhu and egg. Customary serruding was added. The compressed rice cake was soft and went well with the gravy / kuah. I would have like it to be hotter than lukewarm. They have offerings such as nasi lemak & padang, Mee soto, soto ayam and more.
I had a wonderful here, located at tanjong pagar complex. I chose the nasi goreng ikan bilis, which was a delight for my taste buds. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the ikan bilis added a nice crunch and umami. I also enjoyed the sambal terung and sambal goreng, which reminded me of home cooked food, spicy and savoury, with a hint of sweetness. The sambal belacan was also amazing, with a tangy and fiery flavour that did not overpower the belacan. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves warong style authentic Malay cuisine.
very reasonably priced nasi padang , boss was friendly . just wished the rice wasn't so lumpy
First time visit i tried sotong hitam was amazing best in singapore! Sambal udang almost beat my mum's cooking i dont usually give out ratings.. But this stall blew my taste buds.. ?
Ah, the midday rush in the CBD! That familiar aroma... is that the rich, peanut-y gravy of Mee Rebus I detect? Or perhaps the fragrant coconut rice of Nasi Lemak calling my name? And who can resist the vibrant spread of a good Nasi Padang? If your stomach is rumbling for any of these local delights, and you're looking for a spot that won't break the bank right here in the heart of the action, then you might just have stumbled upon a hidden gem. Be warned though, the secret's out – lunch hour here means a bit of a queue. But hey, good food is worth waiting for, right?
