I had an amazing experience at 8848 Momo house at Surfers paradise. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Nepalese flavours, perfectly cooked, and full of rich spices. Every dish we tried was outstanding, from momo to the flavourful curries. The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a great dining experience. If you’re looking for the best Nepalese food with excellent service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

We reserved tables and easy access otherwise waiting on weekend evening Vegetarian options and cooking as per request if you have any dietary restrictions Recommend for quick and best meals. I’ve visited 8848 a few times now, and it’s become one of my go-to places for momo. The consistency and quality are always reliable — I usually order the King Platter so I can enjoy all four styles: steamed, pan-fried, deep-fried, and stir-fried. Each one is cooked to perfection — juicy on the inside, full of flavour, and warm enough to enjoy without burning your tongue. The sauces served on the side are also delicious and really complement the momo well. The chicken sausages are another favourite of mine, although I do find them a bit pricey at $13 for three skewers. One disappointment on my recent visit was finding out they no longer offer hot tea or masala chai — I always looked forward to ending my meal with a warm cup. Hopefully, they bring it back! Service is friendly, and while it's not too busy during lunch, I imagine it gets much livelier during dinner. Overall, 8848 is one of the best Nepalese spots I’ve come across on the Gold Coast, especially if you’re a momo lover. Recommended to pay them a visit.
