It’s difficult to find an Indian restaurant that’s as authentic and price-worthy, which is why I was delighted to find one in the nice alleyways of Gongguan. Having been craving for an Indian Butter chicken, this modern take on traditional Indian cuisine scratches that itch perfectly. The spices were on point and tasty, and the portions are just right. Do not be intimidated by the seemingly smaller sizes - the meals boast balance, with ginger yellow rice, salad, and thin crispy poppadoms to go with their amazing signature Indian curries, all for you to enjoy on a large platter for you to share with yourself, or others with you. Highly recommended spot for Indian foods in Taipei.
I went there for lunch. The restaurant is well-designed and looks very fancy. The food is quite good. They offer a set of different dishes. I didn't know that ordering Palak Paneer would come as a set, so I ordered Garlic Naan as well. However, you don't need to order it separately as it already comes with the set. The price is relatively high, as you can find more local Indian food restaurants with the same good taste and ordered more dishes with same amount of moeny. However, it can be a nice choice for a special occasion.
The portions are really decent, good, you end up full, food is flavorful. It’s an interesting mix of Mexican and Indian food, since dishes from both cultures are offered. Also, I really liked that all the dishes have a vegetarian option, I had the burrito with Tofu and it was huge and very good.
It was good but the shredded chicken had some weird hard bits in it ?
