I was craving authentic Indonesian food for over 4 years, when I came across this gem. This place serves amazing Indonesian food and the best Rendang I’ve tasted since I left Sumatra. The food was authentic. The ambience was on par, and really good pricing for such quality. I can’t recommended enough.
The best Indonesian restaurant in Seoul! And it is HALAL. The service is fast. The staff & the owner are friendly. The restaurant might be a bit tiny but still can accomodate -/+ 40 people max. They have a tiny prayer room. The food is not only authentic indonesian but also super delicious. Chicken Fried rice, lamb fried rice, ribs barbeque fried rice, rib soup are super yummy. Higly recommended.
This restaurant served great Indonesia food, much better their sambal are delicious and spicy! Suitable with my Southeast Asia palate, and the portion are huge. The restaurant are quite decent in size but when we went there some of the tables are already packed with customers, so come early if you want a seat!
I went alone for the first time and was so impressed by the taste of the food that I brought my boyfriend with me the next time. This place truly captures the authentic taste of Indonesia, and I will definitely visit again. This is my all-time favorite restaurant. You absolutely must try the Kambing Nasi Goreng? and Mi Goreng?. The Rendang was a bit salty by Korean standards, so you might need to order two bowls of rice to enjoy it better, but the flavor was exceptional. However, it's a bit disappointing that the food takes some time to be prepared and there’s no call bell on the table for ordering.
We visited Hondae and got hungry and found this Indonesian restaurant on second floor. The food did taste great and it was big portions. I did order ayam penyat (spicy fried chicken leg) with nasi goreng (fried rice) and my wife did order ayam bakar (fried chicken leg without spicy) also with fried rice where she wanted it without egg. The service was great with friendly waiters. The atmosphere was good too, we did have a view to the street. And the price is fair. They got a prayer room to muslim customers.
