A great and comfortable hostel in the heart of the rocks! This hostel was fantastic! The beds are super comfy, facilities were very clean, and having a bunk with a curtain, light, and plugs was great. The lockers are really big, you can fit a big backpack/medium sized suitcase in them as well. The laundry was a bonus! Only thing that would have been nice to have in the rooms was hooks to hang up towels, jackets, and wet items. The rooftop bar has such a nice view of the harbour, opera house, and harbour bridge. Some days the view of the opera house was blocked by the cruise ships. The bar was out of a lot of cocktail ingredients, so we didn't get to enjoy a rooftop cocktail like we wanted to. Overall, I would recommend this hostel to everybody.

A great place to stay especially if you are taking a cruise from Sydney. Right in the heart of The Rocks so there is plenty of food options around and close to public transport. Rooms are quite spacious and the beds were comfy. The hostel sits on an historic site and there is small exhibits around the site. Lovely rooftop bar complete with lovely harbour views. Even when cruise ships are in the view is still lovely. Prices are reasonable especially for the location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a small amount of noise at night but that can be expected given the open air design. Highly recommend staying here when in Sydney.

I loved staying here! I stayed in a private room and it was honestly nicer than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was clean, spacious and had a huge smart tv. The location is great and all the facilities are well maintained. Views of the opera house from the rooftop were stunning and all the staff were very friendly. Would stay again.

Excellent stay. Great location. 15 minutes walk to Wynyard or Circular Quay. Good food and coffee. The rooftop deck was an added bonus. But the best part was the staff. Always cheerful and obliging and met every request. We stayed here in the past and will do again.

I highly recommend this place for your Sydney stay. Really friendly staff, it’s clean and well maintained, has a large communal kitchen and eating area, the rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable, towels are supplied and there’s lots of extra toilets and shower on each level if yours is busy. The bar and verandah has the most amazing views of the harbour and opera house with lots of outdoor lounges and tables to enjoy the view from. The cafe offers good coffee and some yummy options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed a week and ate dinner here twice it was so good. It is close to lots of good hotels, shops, weekend markets, Circular Quay, Martin place, parks, Wynyard train station, metro and buses. Our second time here and we love it!
