38 Bolton Gardens, London SW5 0AQ, United Kingdom
I stayed here for one night while traveling across the country by bike. The hostel is clean, comfortable, well-presented, offers good value for money, and has excellent facilities. They advertise having a ‘cycle store’ on their website; however, this is not the case. I was asked to lock my bike in the garden, which did not look or feel safe or reassuring to me. The hostel staff were not willing to help me come up with an alternative solution, so I was a bit sneaky and smuggled the bike into my shared dorm, which had plenty of space! I then had a great night's sleep and could continue my travels the next day.
Pro: Comfortable bed. I stayed in a 6 - bedder with a private bathroom. The upper bunk was not too high so it did not feel unsafe. The good thing is the bathroom and toilet are separated. There is also a basin in the room. We could take turns to get ready. The room was warm and toasty. I could use the lounge area next to the reception to do work. However, wifi was not strong enough to support remote working. Bed coverings were provided and they are smooth and comfortable. I had a good sleep throughout my stay. The hostel was quiet and peaceful. Cons: There were no hooks in the bathroom. There was no place to leave my towel and clothes. Being a hostel, towels are payable. My room was on the ground floor or lower ground. I did not like having to tug my luggage up and down a fleet of stairs outdoors. The garden should be swept more often so that there would be less leaves on the ground. No water dispensable. The kitchen cum dining room was not clean enough. Overall: Good
Ideally located close to the Earls Court and West Brompton tube stations. As a family we loved the bunk beds, friendly service, lovely vibe. Breakfast smelled amazing as walked down the stairs. We’ll definitely be back. The rooms, showers and facilities were clean and useful.
YHA Earl’s court hostel sits comfortably close to the Earl’s court station, making it very convenient to go from place to place if you’re sightseeing or visiting friends in the area. The rooms are fairly priced for a nice place to sleep. The staff is also very helpful and accommodating. If you have any questions about the area, things to do, or have any other needs, you can always ask them at the front desk. They have been a great help throughout my week’s stay.
