I stayed in Kaohsiung for 2x days, and it was the nicest hotel I've stayed at during my 2 week trip to Taiwan. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, overall great value in addition to feeling relatively updated compared to other places I stayed at. Below are pros and cons: Overall I highly recommend staying here, I plan to stay here again in the future when I visit Taiwan again.

Amazing location, just across the street from Kaohsiung Station yet still quiet and peaceful. Just minutes away from a Family mart and several good restaurants around the area. My room was extremely spacious and comfortable; bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Service was friendly, breakfast buffet was simple but tasty, and the free washing machine was a plus (dryers are paid for though). Overall, highly recommended, and I would definitely return next time I'm in Kaohsiung.

For the price, probably the best hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Free breakfast was fresh, tasty and not too large but with plenty of both Asian and Western options. Served until 10am every day and it was included in the stay. Washing machines are in the room next to the dining area and detergent and washing was free. The dryers were very small and costed 20NTD but even after 2-3 cycles our clothes were not completely dry. We even separated our wet laundry into two separate machines. Just something to be cautious of! Our room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The toilet, shower and bathtub were all separated which I liked. Across the street from Kaohsiung station, which made for a pretty convenient location. The self check in and out machine was easy to use. There is no one manning the front desk from 11PM to 6AM outside of emergency but that was not an issue for us!
