33/1 Đ. Nguyễn Trung Trực, Phường Bến Thành, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh 70000
Pros: The beds are comfortable and the rooms are kept very cold and clean. Lockers are big enough to fit large bags and you’re given keys and towels when you check in. The staff are very nice and friendly. The location is great. After staying at 6 different hostels in Ho Chi Minh City, this is definitely one of the cleanest and nicest I’ve seen. Cons: There is a restaurant downstairs which is quite loud until late at night if you’re staying on the bottom floor. There is currently no common area besides the reception but there is a balcony and empty room on the top floor, there’s just no furniture. You have to pay for water refill.
I had a great experience staying at this dormitory. It was very affordable and impressively clean. The rooms were spacious, and everything was well-maintained. The service was top-notch, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and budget-friendly stay. The location is excellent—very close to all the major tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. The Palace, Cafe Apartment, Central Post Office, and the local market are all within walking distance.
The guest needed 200k Vietnam currency or a passport for the deposit the reception doesn't allow other currencies I checked in after midnight and had Vietnam currency a bit, I planned to money exchange the next day, but it didn't mention other reviews, and after booking from agency platforms I don't prefer to keep my passport somewhere I checked in after midnight so It was hard to find my bed turned off the light in the room and the room didn't have a window, I smelled something from other guests' dry clothing, towels, and humid. But the bed sheets and towel were not smelly. The toilet and shower booth were humid too. I didn't open my stuff, just charged electronic devices for a few hours. I covered the light on my bed with a towel for other guest’s sleep. The room doesn't have a window, turned on the AC the whole day but not enough cool, and in the daytime nobody turned on the light in the room. There was such as cave. I wear the mask the whole time. At noon the staff visits your bed and tells you to check out. This backpacker has many rooms and enough shower booths and toilets. The staff were nice and easy to communicate with in English and stayed in the lobby until late time. The next corner has a local restaurant to drink at until early morning it is noisy and a bit. It was a good match for my purpose. To check in late, charge devices, take a shower, and stay under safely until early morning.
Great place for budget backpackers and is clean. Had very disrespectful roommates who talked/shouted until 11 at night and then 6 in the morning and painted their fingernails in the room with a loud fingernail varnish which stank up the whole room. It's a shame because the hostel went to such an ends to make a hospitable stay for all and some people think it's their own private room. Thanks overall to the hostel and especially Fon who really took care of us.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. For how affordable it is, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the lockers are spacious, the staff friendly- and helpful, the location is convenient, the showers are better than expected- private, clean and good water pressure, and the views on the top floor are very nice. I'm leaving this review specifically because they offered me a free breakfast and asked me to tell all the people. So fellow travellers, consider yourself informed ?
