1 Chome-7-1 Kyomachibori, Nishi Ward, Osaka, 550-0003, Japan
Stayed here in March for 3 nights and loved it! Convenient (1 station from Umeda). Small supermarket, Family Mart and Pharmacy/Cosmetic store within 5 min walk. Quiet area. Rooms are spacious for Japanese standard, clean, modern and comfortable. Great service at front desk and breakfast was good too. Would stay again!
The location is a bit far from subway, but the concept and staff are both amazing. The hotel is quite new, so everything is clean and well maintained. The décor blends traditional Japanese elements with a modern touch, which creates a really unique atmosphere. They also provide a large bottle of water in the room for free, and the breakfast offers many Japanese options. I would definitely choose to stay here again!
Staff understands and speaks English very well. They handled the luggage transport for me, only need to pay and provide them hotel name & arrival date. Room is new, comfortable, and large! Got upgraded from standard to corner room with my IHG credit card. Super recommended! The hotel is in a very nice, flat, quiet area. There is a park nearby and the hotel is right next to Yoshinoya which provides very yummy breakfast (offer salmon, egg, beef menu). I would recommend taking blue line over red line if you come from Umeda. Google Maps keeps recommending us to take the red line. The blue line walk is much more comfortable.
Stayed at voco Osaka Central for the first time and really enjoyed the concept. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. I particularly liked the interior design - stylish, thoughtful, and consistent throughout the property. Check-in was smooth, my IHG status was recognized, and I received an upgrade to the highest floor with unobstructed views - a great touch. The room itself was functional and comfortable, with a more generous layout than you might expect for Japan. While I didn’t try the breakfast or use the gym, I had a quick look at both. The gym is compact but equipped with the basics, and the breakfast buffet looked appealing. Overall, we used the hotel mostly just for sleep, and it served that purpose perfectly. A solid, well-designed stay in Osaka - would definitely consider staying again.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and absolutely loved it! The location is excellent — clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated, with subway stations within walking distance. There’s a restaurant and bar on-site if you prefer to dine in, and several convenience stores nearby, including a Family Mart right across the street. You’ll also find great restaurants and a lovely tree-lined park just a block away. Our room had a king-size bed, and we paid a small extra fee to have the sofa bed made up with sheets, a duvet, and a pillow for our son — he slept very comfortably! The room size was great for Japan standards. We had three large suitcases and three smaller ones, and everything fit just fine. Everything provided in the room was high quality, even the hair dryer — which is often a weak point in hotels, but not here! The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. We also used the luggage forwarding service as we were visiting other cities, and it all worked out perfectly. Highly recommend!
