The owner communicates well and was welcoming even though I arrived in the evening from Singapore. Great location between the Airport and Jetty Point. I also managed to get a late night bite as many restaurants were within walking distance and the convenient stores opened 24 hours. The room was very comfortable to stay in. I would definitely recommend!

This is a great place to stay while you are in Kuah! The owner Yana is incredibly kind and helpful with a lot of great food and activity recommendations. Whatever you might need there is always help nearby or a text away. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. A towel is provided along with cups and a refillable bottle for the filtered water available in the lobby. There is even snacks in the lobby too! The room and the bathroom were clean and the air con worked great. Nearby are options for food, coffee and some shopping too. I parked my scooter out front in view of my room. I have no regrets about booking this place. Give Vive a try for sure!

Excellent value for money, clean, and comfortable. In fact, the bed and duvet were surprisingly good (and dare I say comparable to higher end hotels)! I'm a light sleeper and don't usually get good sleep, but this was easily the best sleep I've had in months. The owner, Yana is lovely and super friendly. She takes the time to answer your questions, give you tips on activities, help you with your bike/car bookings, as well as restaurant recommendations. I also love that the inn has a water dispenser in the common area for guests to fill their water bottles. I wish all hotels would do this to minimize the environmental impact of plastic water bottles. Location is very convenient with at least 3 convenience stores / mini marts in the same row, a few eateries, a clinic, and even a post office. There's also a nice cafe just right across the street that opens early till late. However, getting to tourist destinations will require some mode of transport. Fortunately, it's relatively easy to rent a vehicle here, or to just get a Grab car to take you around.

Excellent quality-price ratio and very quiet rooms. The stay was amazing, and the host was exceptional. I arrived late in Langkawi, and there were no Grab or taxi services available. Yana offered to pick me up herself and only charged me the same amount as Grab would have. She also gave great tips about activities on the island and restaurant recommendations

I went during LIMA 2025. This is the time Langkawi has the most visitors, and traffic jams are common. During this time, the owner Nas delivered an exceptional cares to smooth out my journey, and she truly touched my heart. Basic common expectations such as toilet cleanliness, working aircond, clean bed, towels and bar soap are in order. Besides that, there is a water dispenser with cold and hot water provided at Level 1 for us to make our drinks or refill our own bottle. My room was quiet, me and my son both had a sound sleep. There are grocery store and food stores on the left and right. No luxury here, however, if you are a budget type of traveler and looking for a basic comfort & clean room, give Vive Inn a try. The genuine basic warmth and hospitality from the owner Nas are hardly available at those pricey hotel and for this, I would like to express my deep felt appreciation for her.
