Really good location, right at the famous walking street. Our room was clean and had a working AC. The free beer from 8 to 9 was a nice touch, and the rooftop is really good for meeting people. Bring earplugs as it does get a bit noisy with the party street, but for young travelers I really recommend it! Owner is really nice too!

Excellent Stay at Violet Star Hotel & Spa I had an amazing experience at Violet Star Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect, right near the famous street, making it easy to explore the city’s best spots. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. One of the highlights was the occasional free beer, which was a nice touch and made the stay even more enjoyable. The waiting area seating was extremely comfortable, allowing guests to relax while waiting. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended!

We had a good stay here. Location is excellent, just off the main walking street area. As with other reviews, we couldn't hear anything from the street when we can to bed, which was awesome. Nice rooftop area where you can enjoy the views. They offer a free beer each evening which was a nice touch. The air con in the room was great, the shower had decent hot water pressure (albeit the water went everywhere as the shower head had some leaks in it) Good price point. The room itself was tiny, you couldn't swing a cat in there. So, with two rucksacks on the floor there was almost zero space to move around. We were out a lot of the time, so didn't bother us hugely. Shower head in the bathroom needs fixing as the water genuinely went absolutely everywhere in the tiny bathroom when you had a shower. Not as social as other people were making out. Didn't bother us but may be a clincher for others.

This place is really the best, I left here after a month that I stayed there at the dorms. And last night a private room. Richard the owner is the nicest guy, he is very thoughtful and caring. The place honors music which I loved (piano and guitars for everyone at the lobby) And the beds are clean and comfortable at both dorm rooms (I stayed at both) Really recommend staying here!
