Thank you to all the staff for our lovely stay. Singapore rooms are notoriously small but our deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. As it was our anniversary the staff kindly arranged flowers and a cake . Location was great, opposite the Sultan Mosque and many restaurants / cafes in the Arab area. It was close to the metro too. Enjoyed our stay at Village Bugis and would choose it again if visited. We booked directly and got a good price during a sale (£100 per night).

I had a pleasant stay at Village Hotel Bugis. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff do an excellent job keeping everything clean and tidy. A special shoutout to Ms. Annie and Ms. Sobana for their helpful and courteous service—they really made a difference during my stay! The location is fantastic, with plenty of eateries around, an MRT station nearby, a hospital just next block, and Bugis+ mall within walking distance. However, there were some notable downsides. The breakfast selection was underwhelming—it lacked variety and felt repetitive, which didn’t quite meet expectations for a hotel of this standard. More options or a fresher approach would go a long way. Additionally, the support staff at the front desk were not too accomodating. I requested an early check-in due to early arrival, but they wouldn’t accommodate it, even though we requested because of little children who were tired, which felt dismissive and inconvenient. This lack of flexibility from the front desk staff detracted from an otherwise good experience. I know it might be the hotel's policy, but they have to understand that this is all about hospitality and service. Overall, it’s a solid hotel with great potential, but these issues need addressing for a truly excellent stay.

Dear Team at Village Hotel Bugis, A heartfelt thank you for the warm and memorable hospitality extended to us during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, lobby, and common areas — everything was spotless and well-maintained. We’re especially grateful for the kind upgrade to the kids-themed room. Our toddler absolutely loved it, and it truly added a special touch to our trip. A big thank you also for the delightful surprise anniversary cake — such a thoughtful gesture, and it was delicious too! From the front office to housekeeping, every single team member we interacted with was kind, sweet, and welcoming. Your warmth made us feel right at home. Once again, thank you for everything. We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again on our next visit to Singapore! Warm regards

We stayed at Village Hotel Bugis for 5 nights as a family, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and completely renovated. The hotel staff was kind enough to allocate a room on a higher floor as per our request, offering a beautiful view of the city landscape. The bed was very comfortable with good-quality linen, and the bathroom was well-maintained, thoughtfully designed with Indian-style facilities. Toiletries provided were also of excellent quality. The location is unbeatable — right in the center of the city with easy access to public transport like MRT and buses. Major tourist spots like Kampong Glam, Sultan Mosque, and Haji Lane are just a 2–5 minute walk away. Other locations like Clarke Quay, Little India, etc. can also be explored without much travel. You’ll never struggle for food here, with plenty of eateries around, including an evening hawker center offering all cuisines (Indian veg options too!). A 7-Eleven store is conveniently located right opposite the hotel entrance. The hotel staff is extremely courteous and always ready to assist. A special mention to Rizwan, who helped us even during odd hours — we truly appreciated it. Overall, Village Hotel Bugis turned out to be the perfect stay for a family trip, and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Singapore comfortably!

Brilliant location near lively bars and restaurants, yet the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing. Staff were fantastic – arranged a super early airport taxi and even decorated our room for our honeymoon. Couldn't fault the experience!
