108, Jalan Bendahara, Melaka City, 75100 Melaka, Malaysia
This is a nice hotel with a charm about it. It's in a good location, close to the old town of Melaka. There's a free breakfast and a rooftop pool. I had a superior double room. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room is well equipped with A/C, a coffee machine and a fridge. However, the room was quite outdated, compared to the photos. Particularly the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was quite basic. A few simple additions such as fresh fruit juice would be great. For the quality of the room and the breakfast, I thought the hotel was a bit on the pricey side at 740 MYR / €160 for 2 nights.
We checked in to the suite with direct access to the pool and were welcomed with towel crane on the bed. Very thoughtful room layout with direct access to the toilet from the pool. Coffee pods and a basket of snacks provided extra comfy. Aircon is freezing cold and light switches are everywhere. Unfortunately, the previous guest broke the bathtub, but we get the pool entirely to ourselves in exchange for the faulted amenities, which is nice. Hot water showers are reliable but limited. The room is clean, and pillows are fragrantly scented. The wooden floor feels homey with barefoot. We enjoyed our stay here rejuvenating after a long journey. Great staff always greeted us with smiles every time, very friendly.
Location is off Jonker street, about 10mins walk to Jonker Street. Comes with free carpark for guests. Simple breakfast, would prefer more variety with hot soup or congee. Tiles in the toilet are too slippery. Could add anti-slip tiles or coating. Thicker and more floor mates.
My husband and I have stayed at Treasures twice now, and we absolutely love it! Despite some of the negative reviews on Booking.com, our experiences have been nothing but positive. The room is spacious and clean, with daily housekeeping which we really appreciated. Breakfast is decent, sometimes buffet, sometimes ala carte but always satisfying. The rooftop swimming pool is a great place to unwind and the view is a nice bonus. The staff and receptionists are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. After a long day walking under the sun, the comfortable lobby is a perfect spot to relax. We definitely recommend staying at Treasures and will gladly come back again! Just on the side note- the toilet floor is a bit slippery. Management could take not about this because it could be dangerous.
We booked 3 rooms in April with relatives from overseas. All of them gave positive comments about the hotel. The lobby was especially nice and the breakfast was simple but delicious. Staff Cynthia was very friendly and helpful.
