Beautiful rooms. Nice firm bed and good pillows. Staff is super friendly and helpful, especially with getting a taxi and telling them where you want to go. The breakfast buffet is very good, something for everyone. The convenience store downstairs has everything you need. The only drawback is the location is about a 20/25 minutes taxi ride from the best shopping and dining. Highly recommend it.

Overall, the hotel itself is as great as any other Marriott. Attentive, friendly, and hospitable service from everyone - reception, restaurant, housekeeping, bell hops, etc. The breakfast buffet is great. I rarely ever eat hotel breakfasts but this one is quite the exception. Definitely order the eggs benedict and get all the dumplings! Rooms are clean, cozy, comfy, well furnished, all outlets work well with American plugs and charges, and the views are nice. The biggest downfall of this hotel from a tourist perspective is the location. They have Shinagawa station nearby but it's about a 15-20 minute walk and it can be a bit annoying to navigate. They have a shuttle but it doesn't start until 7 or 8am and ends at 8pm so if you're earlier or later than those times, you need to walk or take a taxi. Luckily the taxi ride is only 500-700 yen. The other downside is the limited number of tracks that go to and from Shinagawa. The JR line is great for spots like Shinjuku, Ginza, Shibuya, but then navigating to other places is a trek.

The staff is professional and welcoming, and the location is convenient yet peaceful. A great choice for both business and leisure stays.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The staff is unmatched. So friendly and so helpful. The rooms are great and it is in a convenient location. I had lost an item in a different part of Japan when I was there last. I talked to the concierge about it while I was at the hotel and described the item and where I thought I had lost it. She made some phone calls, was able to locate the item, and arranged to have the item sent back to me in the United States. Japan is an incredibly amazing and special place. And the Tokyo Marriott takes that even a step further. This is one if the best hotels I have ever stayed at and easily the best in terms of customer service.

Wonderful full service Marriott tucked away in a very quiet and beautiful location in Shinigawa. Very kind and helpful staff upon arrival and will help with your every need. Executive Lounge on the top floor provides quality and filling meals for breakfast and dinner with a restaurant on the lobby floor open throughout most of the day. Other food options available in the Plaza surrounding the hotel. A wonderful hotel to be solo or bring the family.
