We stayed at The Upper House in June and had an exceptional experience. The attention to detail was outstanding, with a beautifully smooth design throughout. Service was flawless, the food was terrific, and the views over the harbour were unforgettable. The bathroom felt like a private spa—huge, elegant, and so well thought out. Every corner of the room had design touches that made the whole stay feel special. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

Everything about The Upper House is topnotch. Service excellence and beyond, 100% of the time. Very friendly staff, discreet, and swift! Rooms are perfectly organized too, and their room bathrooms are the best in Hong Kong. I've been coming here for over 8 years and they have remained consistent. Stayed in other hotels in between but really, nothing comes close. Also loved their breakfast offerings. Special shoutout to Edward Tang of Guest Experience. You and your team are stellar!

Excellent in every way. The GM and her team know hospitality. We had a gorgeous suite with sweeping views of the City and green hills. The design is simple elegance. Hotel is spotless, well kept, and very well run. The breakfast room is very pleasant with a nice menu, the complimentary mini bar is a welcoming touch. The bathroom and amenities - very nice! We would not stay anywhere but here when we return! I did not want to leave. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The service here is second to none. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless. From the warm welcome at check-in to the concierge team offering personalized recommendations, every need was met with grace and professionalism. The staff made me feel like a VIP without being overbearing – a perfect balance. The dining options are fantastic. The *Sky Lounge* offers a chic spot to relax with a drink while enjoying panoramic views of Hong Kong. I also had the pleasure of dining at *The Cafe*, where the international cuisine was mouthwatering – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Don’t miss their signature cocktails either! The hotel’s facilities are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the pool area is a serene oasis to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. If you’re looking for relaxation, the spa provides the perfect place to escape, with treatments that leave you feeling utterly rejuvenated. The Upper House provides an unrivaled experience in Hong Kong. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, it’s a place where luxury meets comfort in the most thoughtful way. The Upper House is without a doubt, one of the best (if not the best) hotels I have ever stayed in. I don’t even know where to start with this review but i’ll give it a go…. From the moment you enter the hotel you are captivated by the unique aroma and subtle, yet classy design of the timeless interior. The staff are instantly there to greet you every time you enter or leave the hotel. We were looked after by Paul, who spoilt us with his kindness and professionalism from beginning to end. He took us to our room and did a “one of a kind” (for us anyway) and checked us into our room, whilst we relaxed in our room! This instantly made us feel at home and a very nice way of checking into a hotel. The room itself is faultless in every way. The attention to detail can be seen everywhere, not just in the room itself, but throughout the entire hotel. The room is extremely spacious and we felt like we never wanted to leave the room. The bath had the most incredible view over Hong Kong, my partner never wanted to get out! One thing I would also like to note, the room was constantly being cleaned and topped up with anything we used (coffee, drinks, cosmetics etc) throughout the days of our stay. As well as a daily turndown service. Such a lovely touch! The breakfast menu was exceptional with the most spectacular views over Hong Kong! We were looked after by Jackie each day, who couldn’t have done more for us! The Green Room bar area for sundowners has an extensive drinks menu with fantastic cocktails. Check out the guest toilets too, as they’re as stunning as the rest of the hotel, again - the view is worth seeing! To everyone at The Upper House, a huge thank you for the stay of a lifetime! We already can’t wait to return.
