We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had an excellent time. All staff were very attentive and polite and met our requests. Breakfast was excellent and my wife enjoyed the spa. Great location. Special thanks to Angela who spoke perfect English for attending to us throughout our stay and providing excellent service.

Rooms ▪︎ We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was spacious with a comfortable bed and stunning views. The suite comes with modern amenities, including a tablet to control the lights, curtains, and other services effortlessly. The luxurious bathroom includes a bathtub and automatic toilet, which was a delightful touch! ? Dining ▪︎ La Scala, the Italian restaurant, mirrors the one at The Sukhothai Bangkok, offering a cozy yet elegant setting perfect for special occasions. ▪︎ Breakfast at Urban Cafe features local dishes, egg selections, pastries, and a variety of coffee and tea. We spent 5 nights at the Sukhothai Shanghai. The location is fantastic (close to metro but you can just walk to French concession e.g.) breakfast excellent and staff very friendly. The gym is well equipped. The room was very spacious and well decorated.

Great place to stay in Shanghai. Was my 3rd visit. Staff are very welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to assist. Extensive breakfast buffet clean trendy modern rooms. MRT very close by.

It's a decent room, but honestly for 250 a night, this is nothing at all like sukthothai in Bangkok. The pool is even indoors. Location is awkward backside of the mall, it's not really a 5 star in my opinion. It's def not good value for Shanghai. It's not a knock on the hotel, it's just hkri run so it charges a premium for the location. Overall footprint of the hotel is actually very small for a typical 5 star.
