My wife, Wilma, and I visited the Sanchaya recently for the first time. We were very warm welcomed by Greg, the manager of the hotel, and the staff. The next surprise was a great upgrade to the Sanchaya suite. In the next day’s we were treated as vips by the super staff. The food is amazing! The beaches are pristine! The massages are the top. To our opinion the Sanchaya belongs to the very best hotels we have ever visited and we hope to go back to enjoy this heavenly experience! Many thanks to the staff of the Sanchaya! You were great! This was our 2nd visit to The Sanchaya and it won’t be our last! Greg and his Artisans wowed us again and surpassed the high expectations set by our first visit. My wife requested a special ‘bunny cake’ for Easter and Chef Budi and his team impressed us with creativity and deliciousness beyond what they serve up at every meal. The personal touches and attention to detail make this one of our favorite boutique hotels and an experience we’ll be looking forward to repeating.

A stay at Sanchaya Resort is unforgettable. Whether we are having tea on our room balcony, sipping a cocktail at the bar, floating in the 50-meter pool, or gazing at the horizon on the beach, every moment feels like we are in a beautiful scene. Paddle tennis, Cycling around the lake, or spa treatment are great experience, but just immersing ourselves in the resort was so nice?

Paradise Found, with World-Class Vegan Cuisine! Thank you, Chef! Our 4-day, 3-night escape to The Sanchaya Bintan was everything a luxury getaway should be – serene, beautiful, and flawlessly serviced. The villas are spacious and elegant, the pool is divine, and the beach pristine. However, the standout moment, the one that transformed our stay from excellent to unforgettable, was the incredible attention given to my vegan dietary requirements. From the moment I mentioned being vegan, the Chef took it as a personal mission. Over the course of four days, the Chef team crafted a series of bespoke vegan dishes that were not merely substitutions, but culinary masterpieces in their own right. Each meal was creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. It was evident the team put genuine thought and passion into creating diverse and satisfying options far beyond the usual salad or pasta. The care and respect shown were truly humbling. This exceptional level of personalized service, especially from the culinary team led by this talented Chef's team exemplifies The Sanchaya's commitment to exceeding expectations. Every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive, but the Chef's dedication deserves special recognition. If you have specific dietary needs, rest assured you will be cared for like royalty here. We cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

Great food, great drinks, and quiet, save for a few stray kids. Definitely try the spiced punch cocktail - what a banger. Our room was looking a little old in parts and service can be slow (although always friendly!), but that’s nitpicking - you’re getting much more for your money here than you would in, say, Phuket, and it’s so close to Singapore.
