This hotel is beautiful. The pool area is amazing, the rooms are so comfortable and the restaurant and reception staff are extremely polite. However, the food is atrocious, there is no other way to describe it. From the breakfast to the pool bar menu. I paid for breakfast and didn’t eat it, think soggy defrosted pastries, pasta, fish soup, and pre cooked eggs and sausages lying in warm water. Another issue was the housekeeping, who spent a lot of the time on the phone instead of working. My room wasn’t done till 4/5pm on most days, despite leaving the make up my room tag outside my door and the staff seeing it. I believe if they solve these 2 issues, they could be charging customers more money and have 5 star reviews.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG in Bangkok, and we can’t stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, the vibrant, welcoming vibe of the hotel swept us off our feet. The modern decor, lush riverside views, and lively yet cozy atmosphere made every moment feel like a dream. The staff were beyond exceptional—truly the heart of this place! The managers, Mister San and Mrs. Ball, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel like VIPs. Mister San’s infectious enthusiasm and Mrs. Ball’s thoughtful attention to detail left us smiling every day. Whether it was recommending the best local spots or ensuring everything ran smoothly, they made the experience seamless and special. The rooms were stunning, the facilities (pool, gym, and riverside lounge!) were top-notch, and the food was a delightful mix of Thai and international flavors that we still dream about. The Quarter Chaophraya isn’t just a hotel—it’s a vibe, a memory, and a place we can’t wait to return to. Thank you, Mister San, Mrs. Ball, and the incredible team for making our Bangkok adventure so magical! ? Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Great room, clean and relatively quiet. Ironically I just came from a Cambodian hotel and the check in service seemed more friendly there compared to Thailand, which is the Land of Smiles. Might also mean the hotel reception might be sick of foreigners. Nonetheless the location is relatively convenient and would be better if they used the wharf to ferry guests across the river. Lastly, the internet keeps dropping in and out so I will just go buy a Data SIM card ? Felt like a condo building design so I think I will try a different Riverside hotel for the next BKK getaway.

We had an amazing stay at The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG. The riverside location was peaceful and beautiful, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with our bed facing the balcony with a great view of the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The pool area was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the food was delicious. While the location is a bit far from central Bangkok, we didn’t mind as the tranquil atmosphere made up for it. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic service.
