I stayed at this hotel during my holiday, and its location is excellent—within walking distance to all the main amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and even booked a harbor view room. Although the view was somewhat narrow, it was still exceptional considering the price we paid. The check-in process was a bit slow, but aside from that, all the amenities and everything else were perfect for the cost.

We had a good stay at this hotel! The room is always cleaned regularly. If you’re staying in for the day, the staff will politely ask if you want your room cleaned. Very friendly and helpful service. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the MTR, Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Cultural Center, K11 Musea Mall, souvenir shops, and Victoria Harbour. There’s even direct access to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station from the hotel lobby. The hotel has complete amenities, but you’ll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap bars. They provide body wash and liquid soap though. NO BIDETS IN BATHROOMS! Overall, it was a great stay and we really enjoyed our time here!

I chose The Kowloon Hotel for my stay due to its incredible historic vibe, its demographic features and its good service which cannot be beaten by most 4-star Hong Kong hotels at similar price range. The Wonderful Background - The Kowloon Hotel was built in 1986 by a company which was incorporated in 1866 as The Hongkong Hotel Company Limited. This company, owned by the Jewish Kadoorie family, also built The Peninsula Hotel in 1928. I returned to Hong Kong with my sister for family visit in early Feb this year. I booked this hotel room for 1 month through the hotel webpage and got some terms and conditions finalized with the hotel manager by email. After taking a long flight, I arrived at the hotel smoothly by the airport bus. It took only 10 mins for checking in, very efficient. In order to have more free space, the deluxe room was changed to the one with a king sized bed instead of 2 single beds. The hotel staff was very thoughtful to provide a room with harbour view for my monthly stay. I cannot help to share some photos captured here. Although the room is located at the entrance of the elevator, but it is not noisy at all. Only some little chatting voices were heard in some mornings. As a tourist/ traveler, you will find not only the location of the hotel is very convenient for transportation, but also for dinning, entertainment, shopping and exercising. What can I say? The Kowloon Hotel is in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. Instead of seeing the hotel room is old/ aging, as a 4-star hotel room, I would say the room construction is at its high quality hotel standard with good maintenance. The bed frame and mattress; the wardrobe with nightgowns; the marble bench top in the washroom, the large glass writing desk, and the double layered curtain ETC…. are equipped for the residence’s luxury comfort and relaxing who stay in. The room is thoughtfully equipped with air freshener, microwave and even a vase upon request. I also liked the hotel restaurant providing high quality dinning experience with discount for the residences. If you value the archeture of a real hotel room and service of a 4-star hotel, The Kowloon Hotel will not let you down. Finally, I really appreciate the hotel staffs’ hard working in this ever-challenging hotel business in Hong Kong, i.e. day-to-day high customer turnover rate, high expectation, high competition and less than optimal economy in Hong Kong. Hope more visitors can find the good value of this hotel. I will definitely come back to visit this hotel from year to year. P.S. Excellent hotel with very easy access and great location. Amazing selection of different food for breakfast, self service. Highly recommend
