We recently stayed at The Darling Hotel Sydney and had a great experience. We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise and made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The design feels modern and well thought out with plenty of amenities provided. There were bathroom items like toothbrushes and even a loofah which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. The robes weren’t as soft as we would have liked but the slippers were comfortable. The bathroom floors were unusually cold which was something to note but there was a full dressing room which made getting ready easy and convenient. We ordered in room dining for breakfast. It was fine but not exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were seamless and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Parking is available at The Star which made things convenient as we were driving. Easy access to the hotel from the car park. Must have feature: The suite upgrade made the stay special. Spacious and well appointed it’s worth asking about availability when booking

Seriously amazing value for money! So much better than the crown casino. Rooms are more spacious, there’s more to do and the price is lower (especially considering it’s so much more cleanly). The fact there’s less rooms also makes their service so much better. We loved our stay. We especially want to thank “Tristan” for his amazing service! What a lovely person he was - he made our stay so memorable. We will be back very often!

We stayed at the Darling to watch the Michael Jackson musical. What a great show!! The service at this hotel is second to none and would highly recommend it. The light rail takes you straight to the Star from Central Train station. Its also a short walk to the Pyrmont Bay ferry which is a 4 minute trip to Barrangaroo. We got the breakfast and 50 dollar meal credit which was good value and also included car parking. We didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful. Massive screen in the casino sports bar to watch the footy was a bonus. The staff here are some of the best I've encountered at a hotel. Join the casino as a member to enjoy the discounts. Its worth it. Fantastic stay.

We booked a Luxury Escape 2 night package. The room felt very spacious and high end. Really enjoyed the poolside jacuzzi. Reception staff ranged from wonderful to clueless. Special mention to Audrey for her excellent customer service. What cheapened the whole experience for us was the food. Room service food was bad (we ordered a few things and everything was bland and average). Breakfast buffet at Harvest was atrocious. Shame for the luxe vibe of the hotel to be dragged down by the overall dining experiences.
