Having stayed at The Datai Langkawi and being a regular at The Ritz-Carlton, I found The Danna Langkawi to be a fantastic alternative for those seeking a luxury resort experience in Langkawi. The hotel offers a calm, protected beach, a scenic poolside and beautiful interior design, all perfect for relaxation. We stayed in the Marina 4 Bay Suite, an ultra-luxurious suite offering impressive space and amenities. The suite featured a formal and informal dining room, a spacious living room, a full-service kitchen, two bedrooms, a private pool, sauna, and even a workout space. The suite was exceptional value for money, in comparison to what was offered at other peer resorts. Service at The Danna Langkawi was impeccable. The staff were attentive, warm, and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their personalised service truly made us feel valued throughout our stay. The location is great, with Cenang, Kuah, Langkawi International Airport, and Tanjung Rhu all easily accessible. They also have great dining options in the hotel itself. We truly enjoyed our stay at The Danna Langkawi and would happily return, especially to try one of their beach villas next time.

Where do I start? This was one of the most relaxing business trips I've ever been on. The rooms were comfortable and elegant. The grounds, beach and pool were all what you expected if you wanted to get away from the hustle of life. The staff is outstanding and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had the best holiday at Danna. Our room was amazing with a stunning view. The service was truly exceptional. Minor issue with our room’s air conditioning was dealt with swiftly and effectively. The property itself is beautiful, calm and luxurious. The buffet breakfast at Planters has plenty of options. We especially loved the French toast. The piano dinner on Mother’s Day at Planters was the highlight of our stay. Each dish was very carefully prepared and explained to us by chef Gary. The spa was heavenly, I wish I had booked it everyday ? Perhaps my only comment will be to improve the quality of food at Straits and Co. Food there is greasy and heavy on the stomach. Terrace on the other hand was nice!

One of the highlights of our stay was dining at The Terrace restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients — definitely a must-try if you’re staying at the hotel. Overall, The Danna Langkawi is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax in style. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely stunning. This is a quality hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast options. Has a great and big private beach with plenty of accommodation to chill out and relax all day. Close to the main view points and simple to get to. We are already looking into booking again ?
