This is my second time staying here, great stay indeed, consistently good for both stays! The apartment was spacious and clean, well equiped with kitchen, fridge, washer and dryer, good choices of showering products, free tram at the doorstep! Staff was friendly and the check in process is smooth, prompt reply on any queries too. Tram and train's noises can be heard starting early morning if the room is facing Flinders St aka tram/train side (current stay), but not if facing the Downie St side (my first stay).

Incredible for the price. 2 seperate bedrooms, kitchen, laundry and sitting room with proper table. Our little family was thrilled. Amazing views - we watched the Crown fire show from our bedroom. Excellent location (right near trains, aquarium, restaurants and so much more. Pillows were awesome. No complaints. Will stay again! The service was good too - we requested a view room for our kids to enjoy and boy did they deliver! Such a treat. Towels are big, soap is plentiful and they give you a kettle, rice cooker, dishwasher and oven. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 4 nights. Location was perfect. Only a short walk to tram that will take you into the CBD. Not a far walk from Southern cross station. The layout of the room is a great. Has everything you need for a long or short stay. Even has washing machine and dryer which was very handy. Staff was all super friendly and helpful. They helped us store our bag before check in and during the day before our flight back. Overall stay 100/10. Wife and I love it so much we were thinking of extending our stay for a few more days. We will be staying here again next time we come to Melbourne!

Wonderful Stay at Canvas Apartment Hotel! I had a fantastic experience at Canvas Apartment Hotel in Melbourne. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help—truly top-notch hospitality. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to the nearest free tram zone stop, which made getting around the city super convenient. The room was spotless, with a clean, contemporary design that felt both comfortable and stylish. My room faced the train tracks, so the sound of passing trains was noticeable at times, but it didn’t bother me at all—it actually added a bit of character to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Melbourne—I'll definitely be back!

The Canvas Hotel provides a no frills but very comfortable accommodation. Late-night, after hours check in was no fuss, with very clear instructions provided through email. The kitchen is well equipped though we did not fully utilised it during our 4 nights stay. The washer and dryer machines are a bonus.
