Beautiful classic style hotel but a few of the furnishings and touches are a bit tired and old. No robes in the room which was a bummer. Deluxe room was a little small but had great views of the river. The bathroom was super spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great location and beautiful lobby area.

Great sized room and spacious bathroom. The room is a bit old fashioned styled, TV was inside a timber cabinet, for instance. The only downside was no tea coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. Location of the hotel in the heart of the CBD with river views is a plus.

We attended the Mad Hatter High Tea for Easter. It was a very whimsical experience immensely enjoyed by our group of ladies who attended. The effort Stamford Plaza puts into the event is beautiful and I saw the kids who attended all very excited. The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel, and the staff are lovely. I have attended other high teas here and I have to say it was my favorite. Highly recommend this magical experience.

Super Mother's Day High Tea last weekend: delicious/plentiful food, super river view dining room, spacious & well decorated table. Friendly, efficient staff. Special mention to Christine Zhou & the Admin Team for their great assistance with transferring our initial reservation from Melbourne to Brisbane. We can't wait for our next visit!
