Hotel looks great! Well lit and modern feel. But Highlights so far was the lovely greeting at reception! Even though it was a late shift 11pm finish the young lady was welcoming and very friendly! Thank you very much for making the welcome after a 5 hr drive memorable!

Probably the best room I’ve been to in Auckland for the price I paid. Also, Hemal at reception was very helpful getting us in for early check in and upgrading our room. Location is not bad either, lots of stores nearby, although if you’re staying here to sight see, probably not the best option.

I had a staycation with my husband just about 3 days ago. we got woken up by the "door slamming" and the people talking at 3am. the sound proofing of this hotel is absolutely shocking. you can hear anything and everything. the hotel room door does not close properly by itself you will have to manually pull it in. the staff was lovely and offered to change a room for us that has no one around; but that room was right next to the laundry room. we left the hotel at 3 am and went back to our own house.
we also booked our room with a spa pool, but the spa was wayyyy too hot to get in and when we ask them how can we adjust the temperature the lady at the reception said she had no idea.
horrible experience would not recommend for 300 dollars

Staff were great, but unfortunately the highway noise and hearing other guest doors slamming all night, There is big gaps underneath the doors so you can hear all the hallway noise. Very average build quality for a 2024 built hotel. This hotel has been slapped together and is anything but luxury. Breakfast was very average for $35 per person also.  Location was also very good

Soho hotel

This hotel is not luxury. Nor does it meet what I consider the basic level of good for a hotel. Most of the “luxury” finishes were not applied well. As examples, you could see cords sticking out from the side of wall mounted areas and there were multiple spots where significant amounts of paint was peeling.

The person at reception was pleasant. Once we got to our floor, we noticed a bad smell. This smell was present in the hallways and in our room. We had to keep outside door open in our room because of the smell. The person at desk told us that they’ve heard from other guests about the smell.

We stayed in a room with a hot tub. The hot tub was a small cedar tub outside that looked cute and had hydrotherapy bubbles in it. The temperature in hot tub wasn’t particularly warm, but we enjoyed using it. I expected to have some privacy for the hot tub, though it was visible from adjacent rooms as well as about 20 rooms above.

I would not stay here again.
