We had a good stay at this hotel. The service is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are of a decent size and relatively quiet with big bathrooms and comfortable beds. There’s also a balcony, but without any chairs. There's a big fridge and smallish Flatscreen TV The location is walking distance to Khao Talo and Khao Noi, although there are no usable sidewalks. The hotel offers free coffee 24 hours a day, which is a nice touch. However, there are a few downsides. There's only one set of lights in the room, no bedside lights provided. It's either bright or dark. No elevator, and the stairs to the rooms are quite narrow and steep. Car parking is limited to 3 covered and a few open-air spots. The biggest issue was the internet: it was slow and not stable, which is the main reason why I’m rating the hotel 4 stars instead of 5.
Neat and tidy room , friendly staff , coffee, Thai and indian Lipton tea available with cookies. Great experience with them and I highly recommend you all to choose this hotel
For price everything very good staff reasonable cleaners to all helpful
Great stay, exceeded expectations! I had an amazing stay at Siwa House! To be honest, for the price, it far exceeded my expectations. The 24/7 staff availability was incredibly convenient, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee, water, and towels. The little library area was a highlight for me, sitting on the cozy bean bag chairs was a comfortable place to work or read. The rooms were spotless, the AC worked perfectly, and the internet was fast and reliable. I had absolutely no issues during my stay. I also want to commend the hardworking cleaning staff, they clearly take great pride in maintaining a high standard. Whether you’re planning a short visit or a longer stay, I highly recommend Siwa House. It’s a hidden gem and offers great value for money!
At the time of writing this I am (was) not even half way into my holiday but I just had to leave a review for others to see. First a few bad points so you can all read it and if you think it will be a problem then DON'T come here and leave a bad review. The bathroom window does not close so the motorbikes might be a bit loud (bring earplugs) If you don't respond to room cleaning (I was in a deep sleep) then they will open the door themselves. Some people get a little offended when that happens. Better for them to check you are still alive. I had some ants in my room (you might have some too) I asked the reception if they had anything to put on the floor, unfortunately they never had anything but the guy could tell I'm someone who doesn't really care and I'm sure he can sense if you were to be some fool to complain about something like that, so relax, I'm sure he will do something about it for you ? (IF you MAYBE find some ants) The bed is not "hard" but it is firm and that's not because it's a "bad" bed. Most Asian countries prefer a firm bed. I'm sure if you asked for some extra duvets to make it softer they will give it. This hotel is a NO THRILLS NO FRILLS Budget Hotel. You get absolute basic amenities. Yes there might be some dust in the corner or a cracked tile in the bathroom but I DON'T CARE!! I'm writing this so you can all please read and understand there may be some very? small? minor? issues. I highly doubt it will "ruin"? your holiday. I genuinely think this Hotel is a Hidden Gem purely because of the location. The location is what wins another stay from me. Location Location Location. It's just off the main road. It's absolutely brilliant! It's in a beautiful real working class community where the neighbours give each other fruit and gifts just because they want to. Opposite me there's a guy who comes back after a long hard day to his home (a garage), has a little drink and sings karaoke. To himself. Real working class people. Away from ALL the hustle and bustle. It's a 9am - 5pm here. Loads of amenities all within walking distance. Laundrette, coffee, massage & spa, food, restaurant, clothes, toiletries, hair stylist & barbers pretty much whatever you want. Just take a walk. Most people don't really care but I'll write it anyways. The shower. The pressure on the shower is pretty d**n good. It seems it has it's own separate pressure input. On this part the shower head is pretty small. I think I would actually recommend purchasing a decent shower head for yourself if you'll be here for a while. Because that pressure is definitely something to try out. Imagine one of those big square ones that give that rainfall effect. It's incredibly peaceful at night, surreal ?. Expect nothing to be open except 7 Eleven. Please don't come here and try to have a party. I'm pretty sure you'll make the locals angry. They have work in the morning. Definitely recommend ??but also highly don't recommend. It'll be very frustrating for you to come here and then have to leave ??
