Great hotel for views of London. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Service in reception could be more attentive and more personal and need more staff for busier times. Sky pool and sauna is awesome. Recommend booking early morning 7am slot for quieter and photo opportunities. Allow time for lifts at check out as there's only two lifts and get full easily. The doorman and security staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our blind in the room but the reception staff member was very helpful and checked up on us when he saw us to make sure it was fixed.

Shangri-La London – A Breathtaking Christmas Escape Above the City I stayed at Shangri-La London for 10 days during Christmas 2023, and I still can’t forget the scent of Jo Loves perfumes lingering throughout the hotel. Every morning, I’d wake up to a breathtaking view and have breakfast while gazing at the Tower Bridge—an experience that felt almost unreal. On Christmas night, I dined at GŎNG, the hotel’s sky-high bar, where I enjoyed sushi and champagne with the city lights twinkling below. The taste was just as delightful as the atmosphere—refined, elegant, and unforgettable. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Everything was exactly how you’d expect from a true five-star experience—flawless service, attention to detail, and a calm sense of luxury in every corner. London has many great hotels, but Shangri-La truly belongs to the city’s modern soul. From the top of The Shard, you don’t just see the skyline—you watch history unfold beneath you. It’s where timeless tradition meets contemporary elegance, all framed by an unforgettable view.

There's nothing to fault at the Shangri-la....the whole experience is amazing. If you want a special treat this is definitely the place to go. Talk about a room with a view! Definitely worth the upgrade. The service and breakfast are top class too. A great Mother's Day surprise for my darling mum

Absolutely incredible stay! The views from the room were stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place just feels luxurious without being over the top. Loved the Sky Pool and breakfast at TĪNG. Worth every penny—will definitely be back!
