We stayed for 2 days, with 4 people. We had a 4 Person dorm, which was really nice, everyone got a water bottle, a toothbrush and toothpaste. The beds were comfy and included a nice blanket and towels. The wifi was great and every bed included a light and a power outlet. Outside of the dorms are 2 toilets and 3 showers each for females and for males. downstairs is another toilet for Both. Inside and outside there are social areas to hang out in. Right across the street, there is a huge supermarket, with a big foodhall. The staff was super kind and helpful and gave us amazing advice on where to go and what to do in Phuket. Check out time was at 12pm but we could wait there until our ferry arrived. The Café had great coffee. All in all it was a great experience, one of the best hostels we stayed at. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. :)

This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, the stylish and welcoming atmosphere was evident. The host, Ake, greeted me warmly and made me feel at home right away. Since I was the only girl in my dorm, Ake kindly offered to move me to another room to ensure my comfort and safety, which I truly appreciated. The hostel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail is amazing. They provide everything you could possibly need—shampoo, conditioner, face wash, tweezers, toothpaste, even mosquito repellent for the outdoor area. There's also a convenient supply of your own toothbrush and fresh water. The facilities, including showers, sinks, and toilets, are plentiful and well-maintained, making it easy to get ready without waiting. The location is fantastic, too—just a short walk to the Chillva Market, which is a great spot for food and shopping. What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. The staff have a wonderful camaraderie and genuinely seem like a close-knit family. They even invited me to join them for dinner one evening, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It’s clear that Ake and the team prioritize creating a welcoming, friendly environment for everyone who stays here. I can't recommend this hostel enough—it's the perfect place to feel comfortable, safe, and connected.

Hey Yann here. Geerts I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Shade House. It’s a hidden gem in Phuket with so many wonderful touches that made my experience memorable. The hotel features its own restaurant, offering a mix of Thai, Tajik, and Russian cuisine. The variety is excellent, and the dishes are prepared with care. The coffee and cold drinks prepared by Da were amazing thank you Da ^^, and Soa was always friendly and welcoming. The host, Aki, is exceptional he goes above and beyond to help with anything you need. Don't be surprised by his fluency in multiple languages it's impressive and makes communication so easy. My room was cozy, comfortable, and equipped with a fridge, which I kept stocked with cold drinks (mostly water to stay hydrated). The air conditioning was a lifesaver after being out in the heat, and the sleep mode was a nice feature for nighttime comfort. The hotel’s interior has a unique and stylish charm you will not find anywhere check out some photos to see what I mean! On the main level, there’s a cozy little side garden where you can relax, have a drink, or even enjoy a meal. It’s a peaceful spot that adds to the overall vibe of the place. Convenience is also a big plus here. Right across the road, there’s a mall where you can find everything you need, from groceries to shopping essentials. A short walk from there brings you to a night market (open from 8 to 10 PM), offering great food and small essentials. For exploring further, Grab or Bolt apps are your best friends. Old Phuket Town is just a 15-minute motorbike ride away, and if you’re visiting the Big Buddha, I’d recommend a Grab car it’s about a 25-30 minute ride due to traffic, but well worth it. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely return someday. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket great location, wonderful hospitality, and excellent value for money!

Beautiful hostel. Rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. Location is off a highway, but still quiet and is walking distance to the night market, malls, and Decathlon - perfect for shopping. The hostel owner is extremely nice, friendly, and helpful - the perfect host ❤️

A modern and beautiful hostel. Rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. Location close to a main highway, but still quiet and in walking distance to one of its best night markets, modern malls, and Decathlon - perfect for shopping. Phuket old town is close (200BAT via taxi) The hostel owner is very nice, extemly friendly, helpful most recommendable - we, a family of 4 had one room for us and enjoyed our stay very well.
