We received a free upgrade upon arrival, and the staff was incredibly sweet and kind. They talked us through the free snack bar on the first floor and some miscellaneous things to know for cleaning and check out. The room itself however was what we found lacking… first off, the wifi didn’t connect nor did the TV remote work (?). Though we thought of calling up the front desk to ask… we ended up taking it in stride and just enjoyed being disconnected from screens. The positioning of fan/heater/ac is also slightly odd since you could feel the air blowing on your face while sleeping - not the most pleasant experience… also there was a protruding nail on the bathroom wall (?). Not that you’d accidentally hurt yourself with it since it’s quite high above the toilet. Still, I think it goes to show how little love and care has been shown to maintaining the rooms. Anyhow, I must say for the price and the location, it’d be hard to find another room as spacious as this. Also the cleaning staff definitely delivered.

Great location full of good eats, the hotel itself is very nice and clean with a super nice area for tea and snacks. It also has a balcony. I highly recommend and will be back. It literally a 5 minute walk from the MRT.
