Richmond Hotel Premier Kyōto was all in all a great experience. The onset setup in the bath is cool. We had room 520 where we could see the top of Kyoto Tower, so if you have the opportunity get a room as high up as you can if you love this kind of views. The rooms was great except for the beds. A bit for hard for my wife. We used one of the duvets as extra cover to sleep on. The breakfast was excellent, and the free night cap was an excellent add on. The lobby was beautiful and gives you the zen felling. The staff was excellent

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were nicely greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located close to various public transportation, about 12 minutes from Nishiki Market which is great for the multiple food vendors and shops. The hotel offered complimentary coffee in the main floor lobby. The laundry facility was ok, the dryer portion did not work very well although I did 2 extra dryer cycles, and this is with normal size loads (I put more in my dryer back home in Canada and all is dry in 1 cycle). The staff was also very helpful in coordinating the luggages transportation when we went to Osaka. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, location and quiet rooms for a nice night’s sleep.

Loved this hotel and wished we’d booked Richmond for the rest of the stay around Japan’s great lobby, free evening snacks and drinks and workshops. Location is a bit off but walkable. Loved the amenities, bed and space. Toilet didn’t have great ventilation but otherwise all great. Coin laundry was a bit of a rip off compared to other hotels and dryer didn’t work well so had to pay twice more with regular load! Also people were heating up food in the which is in the laundry room (?) so the smell would stay around. Overall would still say it’s closer to 4* than 3* hotel

Great hotel at a very convenient location. The 32 square meter room is very spacious and cozy. All the amenities provided are top notch, you don’t get any annoying next-day messy hair moments staying here. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The service is wonderful! I had left an AirPod at the hotel room and they had been keeping it for me. I finally got it after second visit! I can’t appreciate it more! And ofc the room is super clean, super new, super comfortable. I also like their workshop and happy hours with unlimited alcohol! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel to stay at Kyoto
