For a relatively short overnight airport stopover this hotel is ideal. There’s a complimentary shuttle from the airport although it does appear to be walkable too if you wanted. The check-in process was a little slow but admiring the modern and spacious lobby gave an impressive welcome. The rest of the hotel continues the same decor and vibe, with plenty of polished surfaces and shiny chrome / gold, which gives a nice high end feel throughout. My room looked over the internal courtyard / swimming pool (which unfortunately was closed during my visit), but external facing rooms would have a nice city view. It wasn’t the largest but fine for a short stay. The toilet and shower are in two separate areas with the sink being adjacent to the bed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed large and comfortable and the air-conditioning was effective and quiet. There’s a few restaurants throughout the hotel which I’ve left separate reviews for, but the ground floor lobby has a casual bar with a mix of sofa style seating and smaller dining tables. A more relaxing and cosy option would have been welcome but it worked well still. One really nice and unique aspects is the ‘Sky Garden’ - the rooftop has been turned into a lovely garden area, complete with some gym equipment, mini golf area, and wonderful views over the surrounding city. Overall a great value hotel which has a lot to offer and I will be staying at again.

Just keep in mind that if you land after midnight, you’ll need to grab a taxi for the last leg of your journey. While the surrounding area might not be walkable, don’t let that deter you from the amazing experience indoors. The rooms are small but functional and generally cleaned well. Receptionists are efficient. Food wait staff could use some more recurrent training but still nice (a bit of team confusion). I like the gym and the free water stations. Very convenient for the overnight airport stays and the shuttle (new coach station) is great. Be mindful of events in town because rates can skyrocket. Book early and direct.
