Spent two nights at Rawa Island resort in waterfront chalet the ones on stilts over the water not the beach front ones. Staff were very helpful and friendly the room was light spacious and clean with good furnishings and seating and table on our shaded balcony on the water with views west , and on clear nights I imagine a great sunset view, the waves lapping are quite loud but you get used to it air con was effective. Some facilities were not open yet. Food was fresh and well prepared with a wide choice of dishes.

It was phenomenal. I really love the island as it is emphasizing on privacy and nature. We spend our time exploring the island taking pictures and enjoying the stay. It might not be a destination for people that seeks water activity like island hoping, but its was perfect for me as I like the tranquility. They really take care of you from the moment you arrive at their private jetty.

I came here for my vacation in Rawa Island Resort. This is the place to park your car under the private management of Rawa Island Resort. Fee is RM15/day. After that, we registered in the office and dropped our luggages. They provided number tags for the luggages according to your room no. Once the boat arrived, they brought our luggages to the boat, so we don't need to carry them. Private boat transfer direct to the island. Took about 30mins. Overall their service is great and staff are polite.

In idyllic setting, the beach and sea where beautiful. Room was basic but nice. My only feedback to the hotel would be please stop giving guests water in plastic bottles. It's so unnecessary to contribute that much plastic waste. There are water dispensers around the resort and refillable glass bottles in the room. You do not need to give 4 plastic bottles of water every day to every room. Less considerate people will use them! It's commonplace in many (far more luxurious) hotels in the region to now only offer water in refillable glass bottles. Please think of your beautiful environment and stop the single use plastic ??
