I was worried about staying here, after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think you firstly have to remember, this is not a 5* resort, more like a 3* hotel - but a good one. The rooms are a little small, but have everything you need including a fan, safe and good sized fridge. The pool area has a bar next to it and great views. There is also a gym and lots of places to eat. Overall I was pleased with the facilities and the staff were friendly too. I think value for money here is excellent.

Ramada by Wyndham is one seriously underrated hotels at Langkawi. Its location is a bit away from the popular spots at the island, sort of behind tge jetty terminal. But it is right at the marina, which adds charm to the place. The hotel is very well maintained, rooms are great, spacious parking, good set of restaurants and pubs are right there for you. Altogether it was a great experience. Best if you rent a car, then no issue at all. Pool us great, food is too. ?

Former royal langkawi yacht club. Rooms clean and simple. Perfect place to stay to take the morning ferry to koh lipe. Ferry terminal is 100m away. Breakfast buffet was typical for a 3 star. Basics all there. It is noisy at nights as you are on the harbor. Boats coming and going can disturb sleep
