We had a great stay at Radisson Blu New World Shanghai Hotel. The hotel feels truly luxurious, with a beautiful entry that sets the tone for a great experience. The location is unbeatable—right at the start of Nanjing Road, the heart of shopping in the city. You can walk all the way to The Bund, taking in the vibrant energy of Shanghai. Plus, it’s right across from the metro, conveniently located in the park, making it easy to explore the city. There’s a shopping centre next door which connects to the metro from the ground level too. We checked in after midnight with our family, and the process was seamless. The receptionist was incredibly professional, ensuring we had all the information we needed to start our day smoothly. Breakfast was great, with a great mix of Western and other cuisines. The selection was excellent for kids, and the pastries were of great quality. Our two-bedroom suite was perfect for our family of five. It had a living room, kitchenette with a sink, dishes, refrigerator, and a dining table, making our stay much more comfortable. A special shoutout to My, Ohm, and Jean, who greeted us with a smile every time and were always helpful—their service truly stood out. Also the Overall, a fantastic hotel in an unbeatable location. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and upscale stay in Shanghai! Also, everyone spoke English ? Downside is that the rooms themselves are very outdated but it’s a more traditional style I guess, tv’s feel like they’re super old and there is only one channel of entertainment to watch, HBO movies, the other channels are sports etc and only a handful in English.
My family and I are currently staying at Radisson Blu Hotel. The hotel is updated and has great amenities. The Sky Dome Bar is worth checking out especially on jazz nights where you can get BOGO on some non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The views are amazing! Jack was extremely friendly and served us, made us feel welcome! We had a great time and would recommend to others for a special night out.
Perfectly located across from People’s Park and near Nanjing Road, this hotel made exploring the city super convenient. The metro was directly opposite. Didi easy to catch outside the hotel. Mall attached to hotel, lots of options for eating in the area. A 10-15 minute walk to the Bund. Our room was clean, spacious, and had lovely views from a high floor. The breakfast offered a good selection with both Western and local options — a great way to start the day. Staff were helpful and efficient. The room furniture and appliances were a little dated …but hotel still a solid choice for comfort and location. Would stay again.
A Stellar Stay at the Radisson Blu Shanghai New World – A Five-Star Gem in the Heart of the City From the moment we arrived at the Radisson Blu Shanghai New World, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled right in the heart of Shanghai, this hotel boasts an unbeatable location—with Nanjing Walking Street just steps away and Metro Lines 1, 2, and 8 right on your doorstep, exploring this incredible city couldn’t be easier. We stayed in the Junior Suite, and it was nothing short of outstanding. Spacious, spotless, and elegantly furnished, it struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the plush bedding to the range of pillow materials offered (yes, you get to choose what your head rests on!). It’s the kind of touch that turns a great stay into a perfect one. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help, and the facilities were world-class. Whether you’re swimming laps in the indoor pool, fitting in a workout at the fully-equipped gym, or sipping a cocktail at the sky bar with panoramic views of the Shanghai skyline, there’s something for everyone. And don’t miss the revolving restaurant—a rare and delightful experience with cuisine and vistas to match. One of the many conveniences we loved was the direct access to shops from the lobby, making spontaneous retail therapy as easy as stepping out of the lift. If you're looking for a luxurious, centrally located base from which to dive into the wonders of Shanghai—be it culture, cuisine, or city life—the Radisson Blu Shanghai New World is the only name you need. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.
