This hotel is very conveniently located with a great view of the harbour with lots to do within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The walls are thin though and you can hear noises from the opening and closing of doors from the corridor and guest walking from upstairs very clearly. But really stood out about this hotel is the hospitality and attention to guests’ needs. A big shout to Ryan Ng who was mending the front desk. He was the most amazing staff - kind, patient and very attentive, doing all that with a smile on his face. A friend of mine went ‘missing’ and he helped me locate her. I stayed for 5 days and whenever he was only duty, he would politely acknowledge me and my friends by name and greet us! Great service in a cool boutique hotel!
Our stay at Pier One Sydney Harbour was absolutely incredible and truly unforgettable! We were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location, the stunning waterfront views, and the cozy, elegant rooms created the perfect atmosphere for our special trip. A very special thank you to Ivan Shrestha, the amazing concierge who went above and beyond every night to make our stay extraordinary. Ivan made sure we were taken care of in every way — from thoughtful local recommendations to arranging a bottle of wine for us each evening to celebrate our anniversary. His attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care made us feel so special and truly enhanced our experience in Sydney. Thanks to Ivan and the wonderful Pier One team, our 16th anniversary trip was more than just a getaway — it became a lifelong memory. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Pier One to anyone visiting Sydney!
My boyfriend and I had a delightful stay at the Pier One Sydney Harbor Marriott Hotel. Staff was extremely accommodating and professional. Shout out to Jasmine at the front desk who helped us with check in/out procedures. She and all the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The cooking staff were phenomenal as well. We were blown away by the quality of food and also the value for the cost. Breakfast was delicious, and had several options for everyone in the buffet-style setup. We also experienced a lovely lunch and drinks on our stay here with gorgeous views of the sunset on the pier. Dinner was superb as well. I highly recommend the mussels with a side and some wine. The room was very relaxing and comfortable, and everything had a luxurious feel to it. The location was also ideal and walkable to the Opera House, The Sydney Harbor Bridge, shopping, and restaurants. We actually ended up returning to this hotel for another night due to a change of plans in our travels because we loved it so much! Overall 10/10 service, quality, and enjoyment of our vacation here! I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay at other Marriotts in the future!
Loved staying at Pier One! First off Ryan at the front desk was absolutely incredible! He greeted us with a warm welcome and was super hospitable throughout the stay. Second, the location was great. The second you step outside, you see the bridge. Lastly, the room was nice, spacious, and clean. Definitely recommend!
I really enjoyed staying at this small hotel with great views from my room of the harbor. I always enjoy staying at autograph collection hotels, and this one was another great hotel to choose. The staff are all very friendly and they did a great job of meeting to my needs. This is a great location because you’re a quick walk under the bridge or into the rocks, which is the best part of Sydney and it’s away from the high-rises and the immediate downtown crush. The food was great as well. I would only encourage them to go seed oil Free so everything is healthy. Overall great hotel. Thank you for the great cakes to celebrate the birthday.
