Extremely friendly and engaged staff (especially the 2 staff at check in) seemed to be interested in why I was in Melbourne and what I was going to be doing while there. Even asked about the show we saw the next day, asking if it was any good and asking if they should recommend it to others, as well as the exhibition at the museum. Delivered our food promptly with utensils we didn't ask for(great foreshadowing of an ask that would have come later!). Only downside was electrical work happening when we were checking out. No notice was given and when stepping out of the lift into the lobby it was quite dark and the work was occurring where we were stepping out. Maybe a sign in the lift warning of the danger/work happening would have been helpful and safe.

From the moment I walked in the door, staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. It is such a convenient location, close to Marvel Stadium, just around the corner to Southern Cross Train Station and Spencer Street Outlet. The room was lovely, for where it is in the city there was very little noise and the pod coffee machine was a very welcome addition in the morning. The buffet breakfast was superb. Highly recommend.
