We love The Pavilion. We have been staying here since 2011, and it always impresses. This time we were in room 25 and it was big, the bathroom was huge and incredibly quiet. The restaurant always service the best food and is our go to if we decide we do not want to wander down the street. The staff are always lovely and very obliging. We will be returning. Highly recommend.
If you want to have a place to escape the city after a long day of tourist activities or business meetings, then this is the place for you. Enter the very understated front entrance and walk into a different world. Opening into a jungle style location with everything you would need to rest a d relax. The pool area just oozes relaxation and the bar/restaurant adds to the charm. There is another pool area hidden in the back side of the hotel that has a very similar feel but a little more sun. The rooms aren't huge but are very comfortable and have a fantastic feel to them. If it's your style then there are also 4 rooms with their own private pools. They are very popular so if that's what you're after then make your booking well ahead of time. Overall, the Pavilion Hotel has that 1930s type of feel and charm and really transports you to another place and time. This is definitely the hotel I would book again if returning to Phnom Peng.
This was a delightful find. The staff were outstanding: polite & helpful, always with a smile. Our room was beautiful with a functional mosquito net. We loved the two pool option, although my favorite was the one at the front of the building which is surrounded by huge trees. The hotel buildings have a unique history too, one the once the Queen consort’s home and one once the palace’s veterinarian’s home. The hotel's location is also great, close to the palace & some lovely “Cambodian manufactured” stores. Also appreciated the very good food in the small restaurant.
A peaceful escape right in the heart of the city! Although the hotel is centrally located, it’s amazingly quiet and serene inside. The highlight is definitely the two types of swimming pools — both are well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. We stayed in the private pool villa, and while the room itself was a bit small, the private pool was surprisingly large and very enjoyable. The food here is excellent, service is top-notch, and everything is very clean. One thing to note — we did spot a lizard in the room, so if you’re afraid of them, the private villa may not be ideal. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
We absolutely loved it here, so much so that we booked an extra night. From the moment we walked in the front gate we knew we had made the right choice. The ambiance of the hotel is simply superb. The service provided by the staff is outstanding, they are all happy and welcoming. The one thing we noticed the staff don’t work ridiculously long hours. The rooms are comfortable, great amenities. There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Every other guest we spoke too would say “how amazing is this place”. Highly recommend a stay here. Location is also great.
