The rooms were possibly the more western style we’ve had on our trip. Smaller, but clean and tidy, with everything we could need. The buffet breakfast was good, but had less vegetarian/dietary friendly options than others that we’ve had in Vietnam. The public areas were modern and we were impressed with all, except for the pool, which was small and old with almost no space to relax (very different to how the photos portrayed it) About 5 mins from walking street, we wandered around with ease and found plenty of food venues nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Saigon was the culmination of our trip in Vietnam! The staff was extremely welcoming, the rooms were compact and clean (my only issue with the rooms was that there was not an extra lock on thr door frame aside from the deadbolt). The daily morning breakfast was always a great spread and easy to navigate. The hotel is near the opera house and walking the streets was also very easy. The hotel staff was lovely about setting up late checkout and the bar staff Vy and Luyen were super accomodating and the drinks and food were tasty!!! Definitely recommend staying and/or eating here!
We stayed at Paragon Saigon Hotel as a tour group with Trip-a-deal. The room was small but very tidy, the shower in our room was fantastic, the breakfast was very nice, the location to the city was awesome but unfortunately the pool was not as shown in the photos, very average to say the least (but we did still get in to cool off!) Overall our stay there was very pleasant.
I really love this street. It's parallel to very busy streets and has a lot of massage parlors if you feel like one. It's also conveniently located. 10-15 minutes walk from the majority of the tourist spots in District 1. Apparently, it's like their Japan/Korea town. There's lots of Korean bbq spots too. I also highly recommend the Japanese bakery (Chateraise Le Thanh Ton) around the corner. The hotel room was also neat and simple. Very accurate to its price range. The breakfast buffet though, could be improved. Not much a lot to choose from but you'll get by. The egg station and noodle soup station were both manned by one chef, and often times you would see him so stressed out having to juggle orders. The staff are super helpful. Our Grab ride cancelled us at the last minute due to too much luggage (they seem to be very strict about this). But the hotel staff ended up hailing a regular taxi for us. Overall, would probably return if the time comes.
Brilliant location. Good room. Ever smiling and helpful doorman. Anh, our hostess in the restaurant, provided excellent service . One negative was the spa being out of use but the management more than made up for this by agreeing a late checkout. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Paragon Saigon.
