We stayed for one night after flying into Christchurch. Our flight was delayed so we got in quite late. The motel is run by a couple. Luckily, there were not asleep yet when we finally made it there around 11pm. The room itself was nice and spacious. There is a area for cooking in the room. There is an outdoor grill as well. The parking is easy though not right next to the room. We only stayed one night and left the next morning but the Northwood Motor Lodge provided a restful stay for the night, just what we wanted.

Peter and Theresa are two humble souls. Great hearted. Beautiful Gardens. Well maintained. Our Luggage security check has taken longer than usual time and Peter waited to pick us for more than an 1 hour at airport without any complaints. Really appreciate his patience and his welcoming smile.

This lodge is very clean and well equipped. There's plenty of room for the whole family and the landscaping area is very pleasant. We can't recommend it highly enough, especially if you want to be located in a quiet area close to the airport.

An amazing place to stay, run by the most wonderful people. The space was spotless, welcoming, and full of kindness. They made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Truly hospitable in every way. Highly recommend! ❤️

Very nice and comfortable motel close to airport. Heat pump worked great and had all the Sky channels etc. Service from the owners was friendly and helpful. Will stay again for sure. Thank you.
