Cnr Murray &, King St, Perth WA 6000, Australia
Good value place to stay in the heart of Perth CBD, if you can get the right tariff. The queen room I had was a little cramped, but very comfortable and clean. Entrance to the property is via a side door and stairs only. Check in/out is a bit strange as you use the phone on the wall in the upstairs lobby and someone from the cafe downstairs will come and attend to you. No self check in as far as I know, you need to arrive before the cafe downstairs closes. However it's a very small thing worth noting and otherwise this is a great place to consider staying at, especially within the CBD.
Great stay here, clean, easy check in, not too noisy. The only downside was that the parking lots were all mega expensive and a stressful experience to navigate with many of them having unclear tariffs.
Location is great. Easy access to trains and buses. Murray Street shopping area is just a few minutes away. Walkable to Elizabeth Quay (15 min) and King's Park (25min). They're generous with the bottled water. Room was quite small for 3 of us. Would have liked slightly more space. Appreciate the nice gesture of drinks at the pub. Breakfast was at nearby Murray Mews. Voucher valued at A$15 given by hotel. It'll get you toast with coffee. Anything else, you'll need to top up. Food is nice here. Had dinner at Nightcap pub/cafe. Food was nice too. They give 10 % discount to guests of hotel. Pork schnitzel was good. The mash potato was yummy. Beef stew was nice too. Reception is on 2nd floor which you'll need a code to get into the building via side door. Ask the staff at the bar they're helpful.
Stay here for 1 night and got a room with 3 big beds. Location is perfect. Nearby Parking overnight only costed me $17 (5pm-8am) 50m away from the hotel. Clean and spacious room. The only thing was the noise from the bar downstair. I still heard it until midnight. If you have issue with sleeping, not ideal. However, they give you a free drink at the bar.
Had a few errands to run in the CBD so booked into Nightcap at Belgian Beer Cafe. The room was exceptionally clean and modern with beautiful bedlinen, the bed very comfortable. The bar staff downstairs are absolutely lovely and welcoming, it really made for such a lovely stay. I have to add a bit of noise from downstairs however earplugs are provided and we slept really well! For people with mobility issues just to let you know you will need to climb the stairs to access your room. Overall it was a 5 star experience!
