A very stylish hotel which is very well located near a Metro and within walking distance of The Bund.This is really useful at night when you want to see the spectacular lighting of buildings along the river. You can also walk to Nanjing Street if you really want to see name brand stores. There was also a convenience store diagonally opposite which sold water and food. It was open long hours and the prices were good. No haggling. The rooms were excellent and the bathroom was hi tech. It had a rain shower, hand held shower and a separate bath. The water did leak under the shower door which was a little annoying. The breakfast was great with fabulous yoghurt and fruit. No muesli but endless cooked and cold choices. Even the coffee was good but strong. The wifi was ok but needed a bit of refreshing. Only two English TV channels. The staff at the front seemed to struggle a little with the check in process and English but the foyer is impressive and immaculate. We would stay there again.

Good rooms, very clean and not too high on price. You walk to the bund in 10 minutes. It’s located close to the metro for quick access to the rest of Shanghai. Some staff spoke English, but not all. Payment is upfront with a 500 deposit

Very nice and quiet room with everything included. Location is very convenient, 20 minutes walk to Nanjing Road. However, the staff at the reception and the bar were not the most friendly when we visited. The restaurant staff were arguing with each other at breakfast which wasn't the nicest thing you would want to see in a hotel. But anyway, the price is cheap and the location is good.

My favorite hotel in town! It’s a historical building standing across the street from the Shanghai postal service building. Perfect location to visit the Bund. Great service, comfy bed, clean and well equipped junior suite. I enjoyed my stay here everyday. I felt at home.

Nice hotel and one of the best locations. friendly staff and another level of experience.
