I was initially worried about our trip to Taman Negara because I have a fear of spiders, even the smallest ones. However, I have to say the cleanliness of our room was impeccable—I didn’t see any spiders in our room or anywhere near the resort. The staff were friendly, and the tours were excellent. The natural surroundings of the hotel are stunning, and the entire Taman Negara area is absolutely mesmerizing. The buffet food was decent, with a wide variety of options. If you’re visiting Malaysia, I highly recommend a trip to this place, and I especially suggest staying at Mutiara Taman Negara.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Mutiara Taman Negara! This resort is the perfect choice for all ages, especially for older guests, as it is the only resort located inside the Taman Negara area. I came with my 60 years old mom and It’s super convenient because you don’t need to cross the river every time you join an activity. The food was absolutely delicious! They offer a great variety while still maintaining authentic Malaysian flavors. A must-try is their sambal tempoyak—so flavorful! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings make the experience even more relaxing. Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Taman Negara!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms/ chalets are cozy. Have a nice balcony to sit outside (if you like cold beer bring some with you as the shop doesn't sell alcohol). Mutiara is the starting point for many trails and outdoor activities. There is a restaurant onside but also in the village there are plenty of restaurants.

Both guide Kamir and Along, your detailed explanations on the trip to Orang Asli and Night walk are extremely appreciated. The foods are marvellous. Tempoyak ikan patin and pizza sambal hitam are a must try! Will be back soon! ?
