No. 30號, Section 3, Zhongxiao E Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 10652
Lovely lovely hotel! Big room, decent shower, high end Japanese toilets! Staff are very professional and nice. Always clean and bright lobby. Great common are where you can sit to enjoy cup of nice tea. Love the hot bath! Although cannot see much view at that hot bath because of the steam, but the pool itself is nice big and hot. Facilities are great! Will come back!
I recommend MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhong Xiao based on its location. Just a few mins outside of hotel, u will find Exit 3 of train station, there’s a lift (I’m always happy to see one) Reception staffs were welcoming and friendly and helpful. Housekeeper 春海 is worth a special mention for paying attention to details, making sure the room is well-cleaned and also providing impeccable service and attitude, 溫暖人心的服務態度令我們印象深刻! Overall stay is satisfactory but there is room for improvement in the aircon system, it turns OFF after midnight and resulted in my 3 nights of interrupted sleep coz it was stuffy and warm, not sure if it was only my room that had this issue. I feedback to the front desk on the second day but wasn’t sure if they did a check on the aircon as there wasn’t a follow up to the issue. Breakfast section at the Japoli restaurant is the same everyday, it would be good to have more variations.
I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel in Taiwan and really liked it! The room was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. It was also nice that the staff could speak Japanese, which made everything even easier. The hotel is super close to the station, so it’s really convenient. The elevator was a bit confusing at times, but honestly, it’s such a great place that I’ll definitely be staying there again!
I had a generally pleasant stay at MGH Taipei. One of the highlights was the public bath on the top floor, a great place to relax and unwind after a day out. The room was clean, and I appreciated the modern toilet with a bidet. The TV offered a good variety of channels, including Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, English, and world news, which was a nice touch for international travelers. However, there were a couple of downsides. The view from the room wasn’t appealing, and more importantly, the air quality felt dusty. I found myself coughing during the night and even experienced shortness of breath, which made me want to spend more time outside the room. I believe this issue could be improved with an air purifier. Another note: I wouldn’t opt for the breakfast buffet again. There wasn’t anything particularly special about it, and I found a more convenient option on the top floor near the public bath, where two vending machines offered a surprising variety of items like bananas, chicken, sandwiches, iced coffee, and breads, more than enough for a quick and satisfying breakfast. Overall, the hotel has good amenities and cleanliness, but there’s room for improvement in air quality and breakfast value.
I had a wonderful stay at MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao! Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I really appreciated how they greeted guests warmly every time we passed through the lobby — it made the whole experience feel welcoming and thoughtful. What truly impressed me was the excellent service after I checked out. I had accidentally left a few rings in the room and emailed the hotel just before boarding my flight back to Singapore. To my surprise, I received a prompt reply by the time I landed. The staff quickly located the items, kept me updated throughout, and once I confirmed the shipping, they couriered the rings out the very same day. I received them safely the next day in Singapore! This level of responsiveness and care really stood out. I’m very grateful for the attentive service and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei. I’ll definitely stay here again!
