Great Staff during and Post Ex Alfred Cyclone!!! Thank you to the very most welcoming friendly staff member Sonia or Sophie (sorry I should've written your name down) She was amazing to make the check in smoothly and in a calming manner. She was actually the Manager on Duty and had to stay onsite as well so she knew everyones circumstances and showed alot of compassion. Community & Unity during this time which almost brought back memories of lockdown. I met a few people who also opted to stay in these residential apartments which thankfully still had power!! I saw great reviews and decided to take advantage as well. As much as some of the Hotels put their prices up due to most of Gold Coast without power for days and alot of damages and flooding in their homes. The Meriton had reasonable and Sale prices looking after the locals. The Hotel is clean, modern, ample space, best for longer stays in the Gold Coast. The Location is central close to everything. I Definitely will be back for a Staycation x Thank you to the team at Meriton Broadbeach.

The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and a nice size balcony. The receptionists were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. Perfect location close to Pacific Fair shopping mall, and Oasis mall, fantastic restaurants, and a 7 11 right next door for snacks. The beach is also a very short walk. They also offer secure under cover car parking for just $12 . I'd definitely stay here again.

Everything about this property was fantastic, especially when compared to similar hotels/apartments we have stayed at in Broadbeach on past occassions. We saved over $300 staying at the Meriton for the week and were only a block further back from the ocean and Oasis shops which didn't bother us one bit. They've done lovely renovations to the Meriton fairly recently, and we had a wonderful stay. The only room that didn't seem to have been renovated or updated was the bathroom, but still perfectly acceptable. My only dislike was the bedding - mattress was very firm and the pillows very flat, but that's just personal preference.

LOVED this place! Will definitely be back. We had a 1 bedroom suite, which was a great size and very clean. The bedroom was a little tight with a king bed but it was still comfortable. The location was great! Close to Pacific Fair (we walked there every day) and lots of other shopping and dining options. Also, could catch the tram to almost anyplace in the Gold Coast. Staff was nice and friendly too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an awesome place to stay right close to the beach.

The place is great,very nice,even smells nice. Facilities are fantastic and the lovely young girl who booked us in was world class. The only issue was the bed,it was like granite to sleep on and had the worst sleep. Moved to the Hilton after where the bed was 1000% better. Other than that I would have made it a 5 star
