I booked this place on booking.com for one night when I first arrived in Bali, and had a bit of a strange experience on check-in, so posting this to set expectations for fellow travellers.

This place was cheap, and seemed to have everything I needed for a few nights in Canggu, however it was definitely not as advertised and so this being the reason I am giving it only 2 stars (2nd star just being for the friendly man accommodating a move for me once requested).

As pictured below, the room I walked in to - as you can see, no privacy curtains, no bedding, no lockers and no towel included in the room - when asking about a towel I was told it was a fee, however it was included on booking.com so I was reluctantly given one at no charge.

There were a few other Indonesian girls who had clearly been living in this room for a while, and who were incredibly sick, coughing everywhere. These girls were very friendly, however I just felt a bit uncomfortable as if I was moving in to their bedroom, and definitely did not want to get sick during my short stay.

After speaking with the manager I requested to move to the advertised room, however was told that this was a higher rate. It was around 10pm and so after a discussion he agreed to let me sleep in another 'group' room for one night at no extra charge - this room was nice and I had it to myself so thank you for accommodating this (room also pictured below).

Although this place is cheap and you expect to get what you pay for, unfortunately it was nothing similar to the advertised room on booking.com and I would strongly recommend travellers pay attention to this when booking and lower your expectations or else you will be disappointed.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. Half the staff seemed unhelpful or unresponsive, and the beds were so uncomfortable that I woke up with back pain every morning. They advertised internet speeds of over 100 Mbps, but in reality, it ranged from 5 to 70 Mbps. With so many people from the hostel using the same line, the connection often dropped completely for a couple of minutes, which was frustrating.
The air conditioning barely worked, and when it did, it wasn’t enough to prevent mold from growing on our belongings. I mentioned this issue to the staff, but they didn’t seem to care or take any action. The shower was another letdown—hot water ran out quickly. The shower had a crooked stream and clogged holes, making it difficult to enjoy a decent shower.
Everything in the room felt worn out and corroded. I get that it’s a tropical area with high humidity, but proper maintenance could make a huge difference. It seems like the owner is more focused on building new structures than repairing or maintaining the existing ones. Overall, I expected much better for the price.

I have a lot of valuable stuff that I didn't want to keep outside. The booking says there are lockers. There are but all closed and they don't have the keys anymore. I asked if I can get refund due to that. The "manager" said no and run to his cave in order to avoid confrontation. Don't stay over there. Very stinky mattress, no pillow cases.

Not so happy staying here.. On the first day, I was yelled by one male manager there even though he could speak nicely. I also rented a motorbike there and got unpleasant treatment. The room was also dirty, the pool was dirty, even the pillows were very dirty, the position of the hostel is also in a narrow and scary rocky alley.. i stayed there for 8 days and rented a motorbike for 1 week but because I was disappointed with the service from the hostel staff, I left before the hostel and my motorbike rental period was up, initially I didn't want to give bad reviews but I was disappointed with the words of Mrs. D that said that i didn’t respect her and complain too much, the fact is i clean the room by myself and didnt complain about the dirty room.. I'm sorry but this is based on my own personal experience..
